I am very excited to share with you all a piece I did for Verily Magazine’s Winter issue! For those who don’t know about Verily yet here’s a little bit about who they are: “Verily is a new kind of women’s magazine: one that that celebrates the best of who you are. We feature fashion that is worthy of the woman, relationship articles that go beyond sex tips, and strong cultural and lifestyle journalism. Verily is the modern woman’s go-to guide on how to lead a fulfilling, integrated life.” Which basically means it’s amazing, raw, and relatable and all you ladies should be reading it.
I worked with their talented creative director and good friend of mine, Jane Riley, to design a few article title pages for the issue and I am extremely happy with how they came out! Yesterday I finally received my hard copy in mail and it’s a gem. Make sure to pick up a copy or subscribe to Verily Magazine for some quality reads and inspiration (and to check out my work)!

Some of you know, some of you don’t, but I recently left Hurley (where I had been for FOUR years!) to start a job as Senior Designer for Society6! Now instead of only doing apparel graphics, I am taking on all creative needs over here. It’s been busy, but SO exciting and I really feel like this type of job was meant for me. My day-to-day includes everything from designing web banner ads, to doing art for member emails and blog posts, to styling, organizing and photographing lifestyle photo shoots! Society6 recently redesigned their tote bags so that they are printed with all-over art and I really wanted to show off the amazing new product by shooting it while out and about on the streets of LA. I recruited my friend, the lovely Danielle Nagel, to help model them and we just cruised around Hollywood and shot some rad photos! Above are my favorites :)

There’s been a lot of silence on this blog recently. And when that happens it only means there are a LOT of fun things going on behind the scenes! Those things will surface as SOON as I am allowed to share them, but for right now I am really excited to share a few of the pieces I have been working on with insanely talented photographer, Kayla Varley. She photographs hot california babes for really fun companies like Volcom and others, as well as some really beautiful self portraits! Sooooo we decided to get together and collab…her photos, my colorful additions! We are currently working on making these available as 11×17 prints so stay tuned for more info as it becomes available. These are just a few of the many pieces we have been working on so make sure to check back for more designs soon!
