I’ve been doing a lot of freelance apparel graphic work for Mate The Label lately and it’s been so fun! The most exciting thing about designing apparel is that you work on it 6 months to a year before it comes out in stores, so when it finally comes out it’s like rediscovering your work allover again! All three pieces are now available at Urban Outfitters – here, here and here.

My people. I’ve missed you.

Last year was a haute beautiful mess. I became Art Director at Society6, got engaged to my best friend, we planned a wedding (resulting in only like 29 emotional and psychological breakdowns), got married, went on a (freakin’ amazing) honeymoon to Tulum, and I created a lot of freelance work in-between. So I was busy and I definitely didn’t post here at ALL. Life happens, and it’s awesome.

So I am starting back up with a little piece I created and donated to Roadogs for their annual auction that rescues Bulldogs and puts them in MUCH happier homes. I illustrated this little Frenchie and the print went to a good home.

If you don’t love dogs then what even are you doing.

I recently teamed up with my talented photographer friend, Alex McDonell, to create a ten piece illustrated photo collection we titled The Acid Edits. Basically it gave him an excuse to take rad photos and me an excuse to draw all over them. Here are my favorites. I left a few out because I wasn’t stoked with them, but maybe someday I’ll get around to reworking those illustrations.

Massive thanks to Alex and all the amazing models who let me draw all over them.

Enjoy! xxScreen Shot 2014-10-30 at 12.15.47 PM

About a year ago I received an email from a producer over at Fox Searchlight Films asking for written permission to hang my “Wander” print on the set of a movie featuring Julia Dreyfus. I didn’t think much of it at the time because the info was pretty vague and they hadn’t even picked out a title for the movie yet. Well fast forward to last fall when the movie Enough Said came out in theaters and I began getting a bunch of emails, phone calls, and texts from friends who had spotted my print in the film! I am super embarrassed to say I waited until just LAST WEEK to finally watch the movie and was stoked about all the screen time my art got.

So major massive thanks to Fox Studios and the set designer of Enough Said for featuring my work. And don’t forget to keep your eyes peeled if you see the movie :)

I am so excited to announce a new product in my shop, just in time for the holidays! MUGS! As part of my new role as senior designer at Society6 I have been busily working away at creating these mug product previews. Taking these from the fist steps of photographing samples to creating an entire realistic looking photoshop file that can support all different kinds of art was maybe one of the hardest projects I’ve ever worked on! But now seeing all the mug previews live on the site is SUCH a relief and I feel a massive sense of accomplishment. I never really considered myself a photo editor or a product photographer, so this was a major learning experience for me and believe me when I say that I struggggggledddd haha. But HEY! Now awesome art is even more accessible to allllll!

Anyway, check out the mugs in my shop and let me know what you think. I will be adding even more designs soon!

My little sister reminded me early this week that I had been slacking on posting my Mid-Week Music Mix! We share a love for a lot of the same music so to make it up to her I curated two mixes along the same vein.

You’ve Got A Hold on Me is a compilation of gritty love/dedicated obsession, indie rock songs. It includes artists like Milktooth, Polica, The Black RyderBaby Bee and more! Sounds more like the dark undertones to love than the poppy, spring-time love beats.

Blowing Smoke is more of a chill, hangout alternative/indie rock & roll playlist. Includes tracks by Arctic MonkeysThe Ceremonies, new Kings of Leon, etc.

Hope you guys enjoy them both! Happy Hump Day to you allllllll! xx
